Participant Safety First

The safety of our runners, walkers, volunteers, and staff is our highest priority. Kelli’s Kegs & Eggs 5K will take place rain or shine; however, in the event of severe or dangerous weather (such as lightning, severe thunderstorms, or high wind warnings), event officials reserve the right to delay the start, alter the course, or cancel the event.

Weather Delays & Event Cutoff (2:00 PM)

• Delays: If severe weather or lightning is present on race morning, start times may be delayed in 20- to 30-minute increments until conditions clear.

• 2:00 PM Cutoff: If weather conditions prevent us from safely launching or completing the 5K before our scheduled event close at 2:00 PM, the race will be officially canceled for the day.

No Refunds & Charitable Proceeds

Because race preparation costs (including permits, t-shirts, medals, and safety personnel) are committed prior to the event, all registration fees are strictly non-refundable.

If the race is delayed or canceled due to weather, 100% of your net registration proceeds will be donated directly to our charitable cause. We deeply appreciate your support and understanding in helping us fulfill our mission, rain or shine.
